COST, with a membership of nearly 600 multistate corporations, is dedicated to preserving and promoting equitable and nondiscriminatory state taxation of multi-jurisdictional entities. Prior to joining COST, Stephanie was an Associate at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP’s state and local tax practice in Washington DC. Her practice included state tax planning and structuring, resolving multistate litigation and controversies, legislative and regulatory monitoring for various industries and federal and state legislative drafting and advocacy. Prior to working at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, Stephanie was a Senior Associate at PwC’s state and local tax practice in Seattle, Washington and McLean, Virginia. She advised on income tax, gross receipts tax and sales and use tax restructuring, provided audit defense and managed multistate administrative appeals. Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine.
