GENERAL INFORMATION

This virtual training program is for multistate and multinational corporations who have moved all or a portion of the state tax function offshore. This program is only for offshore employees of COST member multinational corporations who are engaged in the state tax function including state tax accounting, and the preparation and filing of state tax returns. The purpose of the program is to provide instruction to offshore personnel on basic SALT principles, concepts and the practical application of those concepts. 

The program consists of three 90-minute sessions. These sessions will introduce the offshore employees to the concepts that form the foundation of state taxation and discuss the practical application of those concepts. Each session will allow time for questions and an informal discussion of the concepts. The scheduled sessions will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am ET on the following days:

June 23 – Jurisdiction to Impose Taxes and Administrative Procedures

June 30 – Corporate Income Tax

July 7 – Sales, Gross Receipts and Property Taxes

Registration Fee Per Company:

1-10 participants:  $575 per person

11-20 participants:  $500 per person

21 or more participants:  $400 per person
