The Bellagio is located approximately 2.8 miles from McCarran International Airport.

Program:

Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30th with the first session starting at 1:30 p.m. The Workshop will conclude at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd.

The goal of this program is to bring multistate property tax professionals, who have various levels of experience, together to have extensive interactions and to exchange valuable information.  Timely legislative and litigation updates are provided, as well as recent property tax trends and opportunities to make sure your business’s property is not over taxed. The program will also have an interactive audit session and no advanced preparation is needed.

Registration Fees: 

Cancellation Policy:

A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before September 9th; cancellations after September 9th will not be refunded.  Member companies must be in good standing with COST at time of registration and time of program for employees to attend at the COST membership rate.

Hotels:

Hotel Reservations are not included with the registration fee.

We encourage you to make your room reservations early as rooms in the COST block and hotel will sell out. Note: September 9, 2019 is the room reservation cut-off date. Rooms at the group rate may not be available if the COST room block sells out prior to September 9.

Continuing Education:

COST will assist in applying for Continuing Education credit for the 2019 Property Tax Workshop.  COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. For CLE credits and more CPE information, please email kgaldamez@cost.org. This course is tentatively approved for 15 CPE (50 min.) hours. COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations. 

Weather:

September/October’s average high in Las Vegas is in the high 80’s and the average evening low is in the 60’s. 

Dress:

Dress for the conference is business casual.  We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.

Permission:

By registering for the Workshop, attendees hereby agree to allow COST to use any photos taken of them during the workshop in news media, website, publications, articles, marketing pieces, etc.
