Program:
COST’s 2026 SALT in a Digital World Workshop will be held March 2nd through 4th. The Workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the 2nd with sessions focused on AI that will be interactive (bring your computer with Copilot installed). There will be sessions all day on the 3rd, and evening receptions will be held on both days. The Workshop will wrap up on the 4th around noon.
COST’s 2026 SALT in a Digital World Workshop will cover the key state and local tax issues that affect anyone using technology in their operations (and isn’t that just about everyone?). In addition, there will be multiple sessions covering AI – its uses and impact on state and local taxes.The Workshop is for someone at all levels of state and local tax experience. No advance preparation is needed. Only employees of COST industry member and non-COST industry member companies are invited to attend.
This course is tentatively approved for 11 CPE (50 min.) hours. There are no prerequisites for this Workshop and the program level is intermediate. COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations.

Your company must be in good standing with COST at time of registration and at time of program in order for its employees to attend at the COST Industry Member rate.
Cancellation Fees:
A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before February 16, 2026; cancellations after February 16th will not be refunded.

Continuing Education:
COST will assist you in applying for Continuing Education credit for the COST 2026 SALT in a Digital World Workshop. COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
Weather:
March's average high in San Francisco is in low 60’s and the average low is in the high 40’s. Dress for the conference is business casual. We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
