The Grand Hyatt is located approximately 25 miles from Denver International Airport and 1 mile from Union Station.
Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th with the first session starting at 1:00 p.m. The Workshop will conclude at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17th.
The goal of this program is to bring multistate property tax professionals, who have various levels of experience, together to have extensive interactions and to exchange valuable information. Timely legislative and litigation updates are provided, as well as recent property tax trends and opportunities to make sure your business’s property is not over taxed. The program will also have an interactive audit session and no advanced preparation is needed.
A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before September 1st; cancellations after September 1st will not be refunded. Member companies must be in good standing with COST at time of registration and time of program for employees to attend at the COST membership rate.

Rooms have been reserved at a rate of $249 (plus taxes). Please make your hotel reservations directly with the Grand Hyatt at 303.295.1234 and let them know you are attending the Council On State Taxation Property Tax Workshop.
We encourage you to make your room reservations early as rooms in the COST block and hotel will sell out. Note: September 1, 2020 is the room reservation cut-off date. Rooms at the group rate may not be available if the COST room block sells out prior to September 1.
COST will assist in applying for Continuing Education credit for the 2020 Property Tax Workshop. COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. For CLE credits and more CPE information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. This course is tentatively approved for 15 CPE (50 min.) hours. COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations.
September’s average high in Denver is in the mid 60’s and the average evening low is in the 40’s.
Dress for the conference is business casual. We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
